2018 is technically a gap year for L'Artocarpe, to enable to rethink its model of governance.
Core members are left with the crucial task to draw conclusion of nearly 10 years of actions and inject new ideas.
L'Artocarpe wishes to thank all its previous members, without whom, we wouldn't exist.

L'Artocarpe is currently reviewing its way of operating. To do so, many meetings have been held with a core group in Guadeloupe.
We are to continue the brainstorming period until we can define a new coherent vision for the future of L'Artocarpe... In the meantime, we keep a low profile on communication. However, we are still running events. So do keep in touch...

L'Artocarpe operates in three distinct places: Guadeloupe, Martinique and France, with ramifications in other territories, such as Dominica. Members are either professional artists, students who have just graduated, as well as art professionals.
Friends of L'Artocarpe are any person who likes contemporary art and think they can bring interest to the organisation.
In 2016, L'Artocarpe operates from New York as well as Guadeloupe! With a strong network to offer to our members, L'Artocarpe wishes to go a step further toward the move of members's recognition worldwide.

L'Artocarpe purposely chose to hold its Annual General Meeting in Martinique for many reasons. First to keep in touch with fellow members based there, and enable them to exchange with L'Artocarpe's Art Director Régine Cuzin, second to be present to the opening of the a great Caribbean artist, third, to be in the heart of the art scene, which keeps affirming itself...

Lana Kustova is the new Chair of L'Artocarpe, taking over for Joëlle Ferly's post as first president. Based in New York, Lana is a very dynamic entrepreneur woman and also passionate about arts. She studies art as well as running a flat rental business with her husband.
Lana Kustova has been elected as L'Artocarpe's new chair during our annual genral meeting (AGM), Jan. 2016
Lana is already familiar with Guadeloupe, being married to Fred-Alex, who is from the island. Lana is to inject new ideas to L'Artocarpe, in need to refresh its orientation so as to broader its range of actions. Members can expect to see greater opportunities wordlwide, starting with the north of America...

L'Artocarpe is an exciting platform, which aim is to promote contemporary art at a high level of expertise. Our members are mainly professional artists (or mid-career artists as well as art students and art professionals) who wish to be get a greater visibility internationally. Our regular members are based mainly in Guadeloupe and Martinique, St Martin but also in Paris, Dominica, England, Brazil and beyond. Our activities spread across all continents: Sénégal - Aruba - Dominican Republic - Trinidad - Haiti - Spain - The UK - Japan and beyond. Come and be part of this exciting venture entirely run by and for artists...
